Syon House, Brentford
Private Guided Tour

Tuesday 21 July 2026

Join us for a private guided tour of Syon House. Meeting at 11.15am for an 11.30 start  the tour will last 1.5 hrs

Syon house is the London home of the Duke of Northumberland, a Grade 1 listed building set in the impressive grounds of Syon Park. Syon Park lies on the banks of the Thames some 10 miles upstream from London on what, in prehistoric times, was an island amid marshes and creeks. In 1415 Henry V laid the foundation stone of what become an Abbey of great influence throughout Tudor times until its dissolution when it passed to the Percy family. In the centuries that followed and up to the present day major refurbishment and redesign of the House and gardens have been undertaken , including the interiors by Robert Adam in 1762 and gardens by  Capability Brown.
